B-CC Athletes shine in 2011 USRowing Club National Championships

Congratulations to all B-CC Athletes who competed in the The 2011 USRowing Club National Championships held July 13-17 at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind. The event features more than 1,500 athletes who travel from across the country to compete for national titles at the junior, intermediate and senior levels.

Leading the way for B-CC were our women, with Margaux Carle, Lizzie Hook and Abby McIntosh winning gold in the junior women's B 8+ final, rowing for TBC Rowing. Sam Weiner brought home a silver medal in the junior men's 8+ , rowing for Old Dominion Boat Club (ODBC). Michael Colella's US Rowing Development Camp boats won a silver medal in the men's Intermediate 8+ and bronze in the men's junior A pair. Erik Holmvik joined the TBC men on the medal stand to bring home bronze for the junior B 8+.

We are also very proud of Matt Dutko, TBC, Charlotte Myers, PBC, Katie Sampson, PBC, Joaquin Rodriquez, TBC, and Caelan Collins coxing for the U16 TBC group, for competing at Club Nationals.
